What to Expect
Tesla Energy Residential Asset Management provided Post-Sales support to Certified Installers. We represent the Service Organization and ensure the contract obligations are fulfilled. We review technical & non-technical escalations, managing the communication with the relevant parties till resolution. This role is for a technical minded individual with a commercial experience who can critically and creatively solve problems by working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Technical Support, and our external installation partners. A successful candidate for this team must be a problem-solver at their core, have a strong quality- & customer-focused mindset, and have the personal drive for continual improvement personally and professionally. What You'll Do
- Act as the point of contact for sales and certified installers on fleet-wide escalations (e.g., fleet performance, supporting tools)
- Manage non-technical escalations from certified installers, identify root causes, and provide input to eliminate issues
- Process install quality auto-tickets and communicate with certified installers
- Engage certified installers to facilitate parts replacements and resolve installation issues, using telemetry for verification
- Roll out fleet service processes to certified installers
- Provide regular fleet performance updates to stakeholders during extreme weather events
- Negotiate service request pricing, create purchase orders, manage warranty claim communications, and create quotes for commercial customers serviced by Tesla
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering/science major or equivalent experience in solar/home storage installation
- Technical understanding of solar systems, energy storage systems, and electrical code/theory
- Experience in technical support and engineering environments
- Proficiency in commercial communication, handling purchase orders, and invoices
- Fluency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to modify/run database analytics, including SQL queries
- Ability to independently make decisions, prioritize workflows, and solve problems with limited direction
- Highly organized, self-driven, reliable, with attention to detail, follow-through on tasks, and professional communication skills
