Aircraft Avionics Technician

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Avionics Technicians to join our team in Kinston, North Carolina. If you have a strong background in avionics installations, wire harness fabrication, and system integrations - and want to work with industry-leading technology - this is the opportunity for you.

We're seeking candidates with 4-7 years of avionics experience. While an A&P license is preferred, it's not required if you have proven expertise in installs, wire harness fabrication, and are familiar with Garmin, Go-Go Wi-Fi, and Starlink systems. Corporate aviation experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates from all aviation platforms who have a strong avionics background.

• Install, test, and troubleshoot avionics systems and components
  
• Fabricate and install aircraft wire harnesses to precise specifications
  
• Perform system integrations, including Garmin, Go-Go Wi-Fi, and Starlink connectivity solutions
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
  
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion
  
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards
  

• 4-7 years of aircraft avionics experience
  
• A&P license preferred but not required
  
• Proficiency in avionics installation and wire harness fabrication
  
• Experience with Garmin, Go-Go Wi-Fi, and Starlink installations
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
• Corporate aviation background preferred, but open to all aircraft platforms with strong relevant experience
