An Office Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to ensure an office's smooth and efficient daily operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Administrative and clerical tasks:

    • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
    • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors when requested.
    • Draft, format, and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence.


  • Office coordination and support:

    • Manage and coordinate meeting activities
    • Monitor and order office supplies to maintain inventory levels.
    • Assist with special projects and provide administrative support to site as needed.


  • Kitchen and meal management:

    • Ensure kitchen areas are clean, stocked, and organized.
    • Order and manage inventory of pantry items, including snacks, coffee, and other beverages.
    • Coordinate or support catering needs for internal meetings and company events..
    • Arrange refreshments for guests and meetings, including setup and cleanup.


  • Customer service:

    • Respond to routine inquiries from clients, customers, and employees.
    • Act as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.




Qualifications and Skills


  • Education and experience:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.


  • Technical skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.


  • Personal attributes and soft skills:

    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Dependable, proactive, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.






Pay Range: $22 - $23 per hour
