Our team is responsible for developing and supporting the investment data platform to provide streamlined and governed access to trusted data. The team handles integration to third-party vendors and/or internal data stores as needed so that the back-end implementation is not exposed to consumers. Technologies used by the team include Snowflake, DBT, AWS, Kubernetes. Primary Duties & Responsibilities *Build and maintain an investment data platform running on Snowflake data cloud Qualifications *Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent degree or experience *4+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices *4+ years of professional software engineering, debugging, analysis, and software documentation experience *Strong understanding of engineering principles, design and best practices. *Intermediate understanding of SQL *Strong understanding of public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Docker, K8s, Containerization). *Intermediate understanding of data quality and data concepts *Clearly articulate design choices *Evolving analytical and critical thinking skills. *Experience with Agile methodologies/DevOps environment *Self-motivated and able to independently execute a plan *Production experience with Snowflake and DBT or other cloud data technologies *Production experience or familiarity with AWS serverless patterns, CI/CD using GitLab, K8s, and deployment using terraform concepts Preferred Qualifications *Understanding of investment management business domain is a plus Compensation Range: Pay Range - Start: Pay Range - End: $172,250.00Geographic Specific Pay Structure: We believe in fairness and transparency.
