Peraton is seeking a Software Engineer to join our high-impact cyber mission team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this critical role, you'll take the lead in developing an innovative tool to support the HCI Transition Team, empowering them with real-time visibility, operational metrics, and streamlined workflows.

What You'll Do:

Design and develop a customized tool to automate manual tracking processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

• Provide leadership in building dashboards and systems that deliver real-time metrics and performance indicators to key stakeholders.

• Support data mining and research efforts across a variety of toolsets to improve situational awareness and decision-making.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into impactful software solutions.

Core Technical Skills:

• Proficient in: Docker, Nginx, JavaScript, Git, Linux, HTML/CSS, Python, Angular

• Experience with: AWS and PostgreSQL

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with: MongoDB, Vue 3

Experience & Education:

• 14+ years as a Software Engineer on projects of similar scope and complexity

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required
