As a Security Professional Access Control Patrols in Ridgeville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a government location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols of designated areas, and remaining highly visible to provide a reassuring presence. You will also interact with visitors and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain order within the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
