Credence has an immediate need for a Senior Program Manager to provide strategic and operational support to the Security Directorate within Space Systems Command (SSC), ensuring the effective execution of security-related initiatives and programs. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep experience in DoD program management, security operations, and stakeholder engagement. The position is embedded within the Command Staff Support contract and plays a critical role in supporting SSC's mission to deliver resilient space capabilities to the joint warfighter.



Salary Range

Full salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Serve as the primary interface between the Security Directorate and contract support teams
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of security-related programs and initiatives across SSC
  • Provide expert-level guidance on physical, personnel, industrial, and information security policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned with SSC priorities
  • Prepare and present briefings, reports, and decision support materials to senior leadership
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government, military, and contractor personnel
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with contract requirements and DoD standards
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success
  • Support special projects and taskers as directed by the Security Directorate leadership


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security Studies, Business, Engineering, or related discipline)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in DoD program management, with at least 5 years supporting security-related functions
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a high-tempo environment
  • Strong understanding of DoD and Space Force organizational structures, policies, and security protocols
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or prior SSC or Air Force experience
  • Master's degree
  • PMP or DAWIA certification
  • Familiarity with classified program security requirements and SCIF operations
  • Experience working on-site at a military installation


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Ability to lift in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, traveling across base regularly, transporting equipment, etc.
