Performance Health is looking for a 1st Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Akron, OH. The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The technician ensures all electrical components and systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations and company standards. This position will be working 1st shift onsite with work hours from 6-2pm, Monday through Friday. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, control panels, and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical systems and components.
- Maintain and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and documentation.
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, motors, relays, and other control systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to improve equipment reliability.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and record maintenance activities using CMMS
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.), VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Good understanding of safety practices and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $27.00 - $33.00 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
