Essential Job Duties |
Provide administrative and financial support for the NC Conservation Outreach Project, a partnership between NC Cooperative Extension, NC FarmLink, and
USDA-
NRCS. The primary goal is to expand awareness of
NRCS programs and conservation careers. Support overall program logistics, administration, and evaluation activities.
Specific Duties Include:
- Administrative Support: General office support, reimbursements, and financial documentation for all project activities
- Conservation Outreach: Support efforts to expand awareness of NRCS programs and conservation careers through various outreach initiatives
- Partnership Coordination: Support collaboration activities between NC Cooperative Extension, NC FarmLink, and USDA-NRCS
- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate logistics for outreach events and career awareness activities
- Program Evaluation: Assist with data collection and evaluation of program effectiveness in promoting NRCS programs and conservation careers
- Daily Operations: Support the Project Coordinator with day-to-day project management activities
This position begins 09/15/2025 and will run through April 26, 2026 with the possibility of an extension. |

- Recently graduated or graduating from a 4-year college or university with a degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or similar field
