Merchandising Manager (Entry-Level Professional)

The Merchandising Manager is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to begin a long-term career with 84 Lumber. As a Merchandising Manager, you may work across multiple departments, such as Merchandising, Sign Shop, Logo Shop, Travel, Fitness Center, & Nemacolin Resort. You may also be assigned to special projects that broaden your experience and skill set.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role (7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Make Necessary revisions in order to have accurate as built documents

work with purchasing and store management on new product suggestions and produce revised product placement layouts that improve quality

Travel to stores and spark store personnel in the merchandising of their facilities

Assist manager of space planning as needed.

Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
