Position Summary: As Radiology Technologist at Tampa Urgent Care, you will:

-Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients

-Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies

-Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels

-Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.

***Department-specific Essential Job Functions (add specific functions if necessary):




  • Provides medical administrative support, including registering incoming patients needing Pediatric Urgent Care services.


  • Takes vital signs and rooms patients promptly and efficiently.


  • Efficiently turns patient rooms over for next patient.


  • Performs point of care testing, as ordered by the provider.


  • At end of shift, leaves area ready for the next patient day.


  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize workflow and efficiency of the Urgent Care Clinic


Qualifications:




  • Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography program



  • Florida State Radiography License



  • ARRT registered



  • Current Basic Life Support, AHA




Location: 12220 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL

Shift: Evening Shift; 4:30 PM - 12 midnight on weekdays; 11:30AM - 12 midnight on weekends. Schedule can vary based on the needs of the department.

Status : Full-Time (36 hours per week)

Salary Range: Minimum 24.95/hour - Maximum 39.92/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
