The Deputy Program Director is a Sr. Program Management level position to oversee and be responsible for assigned areas of cost, schedule, and performance to deliver a large complex program through analysis, requirements, design, manufacture, integration, test, delivery, and sustainment phases. The Deputy Program Director will partner with the Program Director to lead a large multiple location cross functional team to achieve plan and business objectives within scheduled time constraints while meeting all contractual requirements.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of ten years experience in managing complex programs with increasing responsibilities with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management i.e. subordinates through the Division President and/or CEO
  • Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
  • Ability to adhere to workplace rules
  • Strong customer relationship management skillsi
  • Must have working knowledge of Department of Defense Acquisition/ Frame- work and associated design milestones.
  • Ability to execute IAW cradle to grave program management best practices
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decision recommendations.
  • Must be adept in Microsoft Office Suite including working knowledge of MS Project.
  • Demonstrates experience in problem solving for complex, mult skill required issues.
  • Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, and flexible
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • To work at this facility, you must be a US person


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management.
  • Working knowledge of Engineering Design and Build process to include work products
  • Working knowledge of Software CMMI principles and practices.
  • Masteris Degree in a Technical Area or MBA
  • PMP and/or DAWIA Level 3 Certification in Program Management
