OVERVIEW

The Snacks Operating Unit (OU) is on a mission to make Snacks People love as the most admired US snacking company. In this role, you will support planning and strategy for a $3B+ business that's made up of some of the company's most iconic brands: Nature Valley, Totino's, Gushers, Chex Mix, Larabar, and more.

Help us achieve our long-term vision by ensuring we have the right fuel in our P&L. This will include revenue management and Holistic Margin Management (HMM). You will work cross-functionally across Finance, Brand, Sales, and Innovation Technology & Quality (ITQ) to understand key components of current and future year plans while translating those components into financial metrics for a consolidated view. This work will ladder up to OU Plans and the monthly OU Product Management Review. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with Business Unit (BU) leads to understand current HMM pipeline, trajectory, roadblocks and future needs
  • Lead OU-wide activities to promote HMM pipeline, such as HMM week
  • Analyze HMM opportunities / forecast through managing top $ projects, projects coming due, etc.
  • Maintain Innovation RNS tracking for current and future years, including identifying month-over-month changes and potential risks/opportunities
  • Own monthly prioritization metrics that ensure appropriate trade-off conversations
  • Facilitate and partner with BU teams to conduct bi-annual SKU review process; analyze and forecast OU impact of adds and deletes
  • Consult with project teams on initial screening / feasibility of ideas related to revenue or margin management
  • Partner across Snacks finance to ensure accuracy of monthly revenue management tracking
  • Connector for Global Impact projects; provide inputs for glidepaths to achieve company commitments
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. or B.S in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
  • Years of work experience: 3+ years
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills, who excels in a team environment
  • Solid attention to detail and the ability to think holistically
  • Constructive curiosity to drive change and make an impact on the business
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate the key details into a broader summary for various levels of management
  • Process-oriented with the drive to enhance how we work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous role in Finance, Brand, or Sales
  • Large, matrixed organization experience
  • Ability to influence and inspire peers and cross-functional team
  • Strong analytic ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action
  • Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers
  • Consumer first mindset, motivated by identifying consumer problems, creating superior solutions, and getting them to market quickly

Salary Range



The salary range for this position is $81000.00 - $121700.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
