Human Resources is responsible for managing employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. They play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting organizational goals.

An internship in HR offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, develop skills in communication and problem-solving, and understand the strategic impact of HR on a business. It's an excellent chance to learn about employee management and contribute to creating a productive workplace.

Please note, this is a hybrid position, therefore, applicants must be within commuting distance of our location in Branchville, NJ.

• Works as part of the HRIS team to deliver automated solutions for HR. Participates in projects as assigned.
• Import and manage data within the UKG HRIS platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Helps manage payroll records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Responds to HR Assistance employee requests, enhancing the overall employee experience and escalating, as necessary. Ensures adherence to defined service levels.
• Assists the Shared Services team in providing administrative support to all areas within Human Resources.

Knowledge and Requirements

• Must be a current college student to qualify.
• Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Must be enthusiastic, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must possess ability to understand departmental operations and procedures.
• College credit can be earned depending on your institution's requirements.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma required. Ideal internship candidates will be full-time undergraduate college Juniors or Seniors, with the ability to perform at a professional level.
