Position Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Onsite. Toledo, OH.
Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong follow up, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Employment/Labor Relations/Manufacturing experience.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee development.
  • Analyze and utilize data to make decisions.
  • Experience with managing conflict and having difficult conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to be approachable, able to communicate with all levels of employees, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes, assist with workforce analysis, deployment and people power management based on contractual obligations and corporate policies.
  • Manage the day-to-day Employment window functions: leave tracking, reinstatements, general employee questions and support, records management, etc.
  • Implement the onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce.
  • Support the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology.
  • Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with the administration of the national and local collective bargaining agreements.
