Your role at Baxter

The Senior Logistics Analyst will play a lead analytical and execution role in a major network transformation initiative, consolidating our distribution network to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels. This role will partner with the Network Planners, Market Planners and Deployment Execution teams to establish inventory transition strategies, validate capacity, and align agreed transition into inventory and operational plans.

This role will deliver cross-functional impact assessments for proposed transitions, covering inventory, cost, service, and operational risks, ensuring smooth execution of network changes.

What you'll be doing
  • Partner with Network Planners, Market Planners, and Deployment execution teams to define and validate inventory transition and operational transition plans.
  • Analyze and validate warehouse and distribution capacity during transitions; identify constraints and develop mitigation recommendations.
  • Deliver cross-functional impact assessments of proposed transitions on inventory, costs, service levels, and operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain transition playbooks, including inventory build-down/build-up strategies, deployment sequencing, and transition risk management.
  • Coordinate with planning, transportation, warehousing, and customer service teams to execute inventory transfers and warehouse transitions with minimal service disruption.
  • Track, analyze, and report progress of transition activities, highlighting risks and mitigation actions.
  • Create dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance of transition plans and validate post-transition outcomes.
  • Prepare and present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Act as the primary analytical resource for the network transformation initiative.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field required.
  • APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, distribution, or network optimization.
  • Proven success supporting distribution center transitions, consolidations, or large-scale logistics transformation projects.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and commercial teams to execute supply chain initiatives.
  • Proficiency in English (Required)
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (Required)
  • Familiarity with APICS or Six Sigma methodologies (Preferred)
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Strong communicator with ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to manage ambiguity in dynamic environments.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000-$99,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
