The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst be a part of our growing team in Seattle, WA to drive financial processes and develop process improvement by engaging our internal and external customers. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

  • Reviews construction contracts for cost terms and other terms.
  • Produces gross margin project forecast.
  • Responds to third party project audits.
  • Produces substantiations per prescribed terms and schedule
  • Produces gross margin analysis supporting documentation
  • Downloads and organizes substantiation documentation
  • Runs job level forecast/budget reporting
  • Reports job data to business leaders and project manager.
  • Lien Releases.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Five years experience with Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Analyst - Project Compliance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of automated accounting and construction management software preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills required.
  • Self-motivated; deadline oriented with strong attention to detail required.
  • Willingness to learn and assume additional duties required.
  • Knowledge of current systems preferred (ERP, Payroll, etc.)
  • Knowledge of GAAP.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $64,890 - $105,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
