Our Team

The Time and Attendance HR Technology team supports global Koch companies by managing and improving the systems that record employee time and attendance. We focus on enhancing user experience, automating manual processes, and ensuring accurate records for payroll. Our team values collaboration, continuous learning, and customer service, and we welcome interns who want to grow their skills in a real-world technology environment. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how system enhancements are implemented, how we support and configure time and attendance solutions, and how HR technology supports business operations.

What You Will Do

* Assist team members in the maintenance and configuration of time and attendance systems.

* Support the development of test scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system changes.

* Partner with Product Owners, different IT teams, and the businesses to configure technology which enables work processes

* Partner with the business to capture, analyze and document functional requirements to provide to other IT capabilities

* Learn to troubleshoot user issues and escalate complex cases to senior team members or vendors.

* Coordinate the execution of project deliverables with other IT capabilities to help ensure projects are delivered on time

* Recommend enhancements of products to optimize work processes

* Participate in Agile team ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

* Develop your understanding of global time and attendance technologies and business rules.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to one of the following areas: Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT field

* Eager to learn about HR technology and business analysis

* Eligible for full-time employment by August 2027

* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a Visa transfer or Visa sponsorship


What Will Put You Ahead

* Initiative, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning

* Exposure to Agile methodologies or interest in Agile teamwork.

* Familiarity or coursework involving basic SQL, automation tools, or software testing is a bonus.
