The Department of Public Health Sciencesin the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia (UVA) is currently seeking a motivated public health and/or behavioral science professional to act as a Research Specialist to support the execution of several community-based research projects. The research projects are related to obesity and cancer. This position is with Dr. Becca Krukowski's team and in affiliation with theCommunity Cancer Control and Obesity Research Center and theUVACCC Cancer Prevention and Population Health (CPH) Program. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The anticipated hiring range is $45,000-$57,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This is a restricted position, which is dependent on funding and is contingent upon funding availability. This position has a term limit of one year after which continued employment will depend on department need and funding.
