The Audit Associate is responsible for reviewing and organizing financial documents/information related to an audit. The Audit Associate participates in audit-related meetings and conference calls to document the discussion points and action items. The Audit Associate is a remote position with the option to work in any of Kelmar's offices including Rockland, MA; Wakefield, MA; or Wilmington, DE.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Researching corporate history for the companies under audit
  • Formatting and organizing documents received
  • Preparing a detailed overview and notes on files received for the Senior Associate and Manager
  • Importing data into system for review
  • Performing a preliminary analysis of audit records received and for reviewing work completed by peers
  • Preparing and quality assuring data files
  • Taking comprehensive notes during any audit-related calls
  • Tracking audit status and updating milestones

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant work experience and/or internships
  • Associate Degree; Strong academic credentials (minimum of 3.0 overall GPA required)
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (i.e., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and "IF" statements)
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • Willingness for potential travel
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now and in the future

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including work location, level of experience, and skill set. As required by applicable law, the hiring range for this position is $52,000 - $55,000.
