DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a County Social Services Aide 1, you will be working in a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Crisis Residential Program. This is a short-term alternative to hospitalization for individuals who are experiencing an acute crisis. You will be responsible for assisting individuals with developing crisis plans and post-crisis plans such as WRAP, Personal Medicine, and other recovery oriented coping skills during a short stay of 5 to 7 days in the program. You will have the opportunity to provide support to guests and clients during the interview process, intake, arrival, and departure. Work involves assisting clients with activities of daily living and transporting guests to stores or appointments, as needed. This position also requires you to maintain a clear, safe, and secure environment for our guests throughout their stay.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Part-time employment
- Work hours vary. Work includes different shifts as well as various start and end times.
- A shift differential is available for those working a night shift.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from high school; or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
