DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
In this position, you will serve as the shift coordinator and ensure that adequate staff coverage is maintained throughout the center. This will involve scheduling all direct-care staff while following time and attendance policies and procedures. You will implement directives, procedures, and practices relating to leave management, time and attendance, and scheduling of staff. Some of your duties include coordinating work assignments, representing management in personnel functions, and enforcing facility policies. As a supervisor, you will recommend and implement disciplinary actions, as well as provide input towards grievances to maintain an effective workforce. Additionally, you will ensure that Residential Services Aides participate as interdisciplinary team members. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, with rotating break days, and a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel and overtime as needed
- Free parking!
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Residential Services Aide (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative program services for individuals with a developmental disability; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
