Job Title: Electrical Wirer - 2nd Shift
Location: York, PA
Pay: $23.72/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrical Wirer to join our 2nd shift team in York, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, laying out, and installing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute electrical installations to optimize material use and ensure future accessibility.
  • Install conduit, pull wiring, and terminate wires per layout drawings and manuals.
  • Set up control and distribution systems including switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Conduct testing to ensure electrical compatibility and safety.
  • Perform HI-POT testing and repair faulty systems as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by reporting hazards and wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
  • Strong math and reasoning skills.
  • Familiarity with MATRIX and Layout Drawing software (or ability to learn within 1 year).
  • Forklift license (or ability to obtain within 3 months).

Work Environment

  • Exposure to electrical hazards, heights, and airborne particles.
  • Moderate noise levels.
  • Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
