Overview:
We are seeking a resilient and results-driven First-Party Collections Specialist to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record in outbound collections. If you're self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy helping customers resolve outstanding balances, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: * Make an average of 80+ outbound calls daily to collect outstanding balances. * Handle 20-30 inbound calls per day generated from email campaigns. * Manage 200-600 accounts weekly, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. * Send follow-up emails regarding outstanding balances. * Document all interactions using CRM systems and Excel. * Navigate conversations toward successful collections and settlements. * Attempt to collect payments during calls and negotiate settlements when appropriate. * Provide daily activity reports to management. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills: * Customer Service * Risk Mitigation * Quality Control * Escalation Handling * Excel Proficiency * Collections & Customer Care Qualifications: * 2-3 years of outbound First-Party Collections experience (not Accounts Receivable). * Working knowledge of FDCPA and basic collection laws. * High-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) - must be tested. * Ability to hardwire modem to company equipment. * Strong investigation and resolution skills. * Resilient and self-driven - not discouraged by rejection. * Excellent communication and listening skills. * Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. * *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
