Civil Design Engineer

EnSafe is accepting applications for a Civil Engineer at our Dallas (Farmers Branch, TX) office location. This position works out of the Farmers Branch Office and relocation assistance is offered.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a seasoned Civil Engineer who enjoys tackling complex industrial and commercial site design and permitting challenges with technical rigor. In this role you'll act as design lead, project manager, mentor and technical authority, wearing multiple hats to deliver practical, compliant solutions on schedule and within budget..

You will lead design efforts for site civil projects, including grading, stormwater drainage and conveyance, and utilities, while also engaging with clients, mentoring junior staff, and helping grow our business in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead the engineering and design effort for site civil, stormwater drainage, and utility design projects.
• Projects include industrial and commercial civil sites, landfills, impoundments, utilities, and roadway design.
• Problem-solving across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior-level staff and provide directions to design teams.
• Participating in and coordinating various design and construction meetings with clients and subcontractors (including Pre-bid meetings).
• Planning, scheduling, and conducting detailed phases of design work.
• EnSafe is a sell/manage/do organization, so your duties will also include marketing/sales support, project and practice management, and client project involvement where appropriate.

What You Will Need:

• Civil Engineer Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college.
• A minimum of 10 years of civil design experience. Consulting experience preferred.
• Current PE in Texas or the ability to obtain a TX PE license.
• Previous experience with civil engineering design for both industrial and municipal clients
• Critical thinking and critical thinking skills
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a challenging environment.
• Group management, and mentoring.
• Ability to travel overnight at times.
