Now Hiring: Social Work Supervisor II – FCS/APS

Are you a seasoned social worker with a passion for leadership and making a difference? Santa Cruz County's Human Services Department is seeking a Social Work Supervisor II to oversee Family & Children’s Services and/or Adult Protective Services teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise social workers handling complex child and adult protective casework.

• Oversee intake, interagency coordination, and emergency/on-call coverage.

• Provide expert consultation, review service plans, and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and best practices.   

• Qualifications:

• Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or counseling, with at least 2 years of senior-level casework experience (comparable to Santa Cruz County’s Senior Social Worker). 

• Valid California Class C Driver's License (or approved alternative).
