Ready to raise the bar on tech excellence? We're building a brand new QA function in IT, and we need a leader to make it happen! As Manager, IT Quality Assurance, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our global systems run smoothly, reliably, and with top-tier quality. In this hands-on technical role, you will etablish and lead our new Quality Assurance (QA) function within the IT department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT systems and applications globally. Responsibilities
Develops and implements QA strategies, processes, standards, and metrics to ensure high-quality IT deliverables.
- Works with IT Leaders to ensure comprehensive quality assurance processes are integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle in alignment with global standards and practices.
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of IT test engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
- Works closely with cross functional teams including development and operations to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
- Stays current with the latest QA trends, tools, and best practices, and implements ongoing improvements to enhance the QA function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Proven experience with test planning and execution in agile, hybrid, and waterfall environments
- Experience with building reports and dashboards for test coverage, completion, and other key performance indicators for different levels of stakeholders
- Experience defining and executing test strategies for SaaS applications hosted in Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure)
- Extensive experience testing enterprise solutions such as SAP S4, SAP Commerce, Salesforce
- Strong proficiency with test management and automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Zephyr, Tricentis, Playwright, etc.)
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Jira)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment

PAY TRANSPARENCY Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $115,300 - $196,100 with a midpoint target. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
