What is the opportunity?

The Financial Advisor (FA) Recruiting Experience Consultant will execute on RBC Wealth Management - US Financial Advisor recruiting and pre-hire experience. This high-profile role will contribute to the future growth and success of U.S. Wealth Management by playing a major role in the efforts to recruit experienced financial advisors. The incumbent will interact with various functional teams across the organization including senior and executive leadership.

What will you do?

  • Perform necessary due diligence on Financial Advisor recruits to ensure new hires are consistent with RBC standards and expectations. Provide key communication on the recruits to internal partners.
  • Organize, review, process new hire paperwork, obtain necessary approvals and generate employment contracts. Maintain complete and orderly files pertaining to financial advisor, Branch Director and Branch Network Director recruiting activity.
  • Develop a consulting partnership with field leadership and educate complex management teams on best practices and available resources to ensure a smooth FA hiring process
  • Initiate and track Corporate Owned Life Insurance policies and request payment on insurance premiums.
  • Ensure payments are completed after hire date of new recruits
  • Maintain and support Advisor Recruiting policies and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • High degree of attention to detail along with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong customer service orientation including the ability to effectively and professionally work with all levels of employees
  • Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands.
  • Ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs and take ownership
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of finance and/or job specific industry experience.
  • Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Nice-to-have

  • Salesforce experience
  • Legal writing experience
  • Series 7, SIE and series 66 licenses

The expected salary range for this particular position is $50,000-85,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
