INTERNSHIP FORMAT

This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan or one of the Stellantis manufacturing facilities in the Metro-Detroit area. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2026.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Join Stellantis Product Development & Technology (PDT) as an Electrical, Electronic and Hardware Engineering Intern.

As an intern within the Electrical, Electronic and Hardware Engineering team, you may work within one of the following areas:

* Harness and Distribution

* Validation and Industrialization

* Program Management

* Hardware Engineering

* Quality

* Electrical Architecture & Validation

You will receive an opportunity to acquire valuable skills that will boost your future career potential, and you will gain hands-on experience working among technology leaders and fellow interns and will deliver technical solutions aligned with our software strategy. You will have the opportunity to present and share your project to our Product Development & Technology Senior Leadership team. The goal of our PDT internship program is to create a pool of experienced candidates that can be considered for permanent positions in our organization who will contribute to our purpose: powered by our diversity, we lead the way the world moves.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Pursuing a bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship
  • Must be willing and able to work in a plant environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering at an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program
  • Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2026
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
  • Strong interest in the Automotive Industry
