Job Description:
- We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong commitment to safety and quality to join our Power Supplies team. As an Acceptance Test Technician, you will play a critical role in the testing of navigation and radar system components.
- This is a hands-on position where you'll collaborate with a high-performance team in a dynamic production environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of power supplies used in navigation and radar systems
- Set up and operate test equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Enter test data into the Factory Operating System (FOS)
- Create non-conformances and perform necessary rework based on test results
- Follow detailed written work instructions and procedures
- Complete required training (safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, etc.)
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in testing electronic assemblies, ideally in navigation/radar systems
- Proficient with standard electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- While this position does not currently require a security clearance, the team may determine during the assignment that support in classified areas is needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with robotic testing, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), or high voltage testing
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean Manufacturing principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and fast-paced environments
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching as required by equipment setup or test tasks.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling tools, test equipment, and computer systems.
- Ability to sit and focus on detailed tasks (e.g., wiring or board inspection) when needed.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of parts and equipment up to 25 - 50 lbs.
- Must be able to safely maneuver in a production environment with test equipment and wiring.
- May work in environments with moderate noise, temperature variations, or tight spaces.
Additional Role Information:
- Many of the processes in this position require setup work prior to starting production.
- This includes preparing equipment and ensuring all materials and configurations are in place to meet production standards.
- Deep cleaning and duty work are critical components of this setup process and are required to maintain the quality and efficiency of operations.
- While maintenance activities on the coaters (e.g., cleaning pumps, changing hoses) are generally performed by engineering or maintenance technicians, a basic understanding of the equipment and readiness requirements is essential for success in this role.
