Description:

  • Manage teacher absences and classroom coverage using Teachers On Call/Frontline.
  • Supervise and support students in the administrative office for behavioral-related matters, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Draft and send letters regarding student behavior in accordance with board policy.
  • Utilize Infinite Campus to generate reports and document student behavior and attendance.
  • Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides) to create, organize, and manage documents and data.
  • Draft, proof, and publish school newsletters, memos, agendas, and notifications.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of special events, including ACT testing dates, back to school events, and Graduation.
  • Provide administrative support, including calendar management, event setup, filing, and related tasks.
  • Act as a backup for the main reception desk by answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Utilizes a walkie-talkie effectively for school-wide communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

1. High school diploma (minimum);

2. Customer service mind-set;

3. Office rapport skills to assist students, parents, and community with a variety of tasks/questions;

4. Experience in administrative office work preferred;

5. Dependable work record;

6. Ability to type a minimum of 60 words per minute;

7. Good organizational skills and able to handle multiple tasks;

8. Ability to problem solve through a variety of tasks & priorities;

9. Positive and friendly work attitude;

10. Proficient in Google Workspace, Infinite Campus, etc;

11. Experience with data input and database set-up, including creation of charts and graphs;

12. Experience/knowledge of networking systems, preferable Skyward and Infinite Campus programs;

13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

14. Must be detail oriented;

15. Must be able to work effectively, independently, and in a team setting, and with minimum direction;

16. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.

17. Experience in the school setting preferred, but not required.
