Helen DeVos Children's Hospital offers an excellent opportunity for a full-time, outpatient clinical child & adolescent psychologist who has a strong interest in conducting a variety of evaluations.

We are seeking a dedicated, Board Certified or Board Eligible Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join the robust team of Behavioral Health providers at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (HDVCH). This is an opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join an established multidisciplinary Autism program to provide psychological evaluations.The ASD clinic at HDVCH is a longstanding program, serving hundreds of kids each year. In addition to participating in this clinic, this Psychologist will also be able to conduct neurocognitive evaluations and provide outpatient behavioral health treatment to youth presenting with a wide variety of mental and behavioral health conditions and their families.

Select aspects of this role include:

  • Conducting developmental and psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral, personality, and neuropsychological assessments.

  • Participating in the multidisciplinary ASD Evaluation Clinic one-two days per week with Speech and Language Pathologists and Pediatricians, and which also has dedicated Social Work support.

  • Full psychometry support.

  • Onsite evaluation and treatment with opportunity for report writing virtually from home/other location.

Qualifications

  • Required Doctorate Ph.D, PsyD or EdD in psychology

  • Experience working in an organization of a size and complexity comparable to Spectrum Health. Preferred

  • LIC-Psychologist - STATE_MI State of Michigan required

  • CRT-Board Cert Clinical Psychology (BC-CP) - UNKNOWN Unknown preferred
