While reporting to the Supervisor, as aMig Welder, safely use specialized equipment in order to manufacture steel reels. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture. What You'll Be Doing: Use specialized equipment to weld Manufacture and fabricate finished metal reels Follow blueprints to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance We'd love to hear from you if: Welders must pass on-site welding test 2 years of welding/machine set up experience Ability to stand for 8-12 hours Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits.
