TexomaCare is comprised of primary care physicians and a variety of specialists in nine local communities. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. The Contract Coordinator is responsible for managing contract authorization management agreements (CAMs) and service/vendor contracts by managing the contract databases and all associated files in an orderly and accurate manner. The Contract Coordinator also provides administrative and technical support for the IPM Market Director, all aspects of contract administration for the facility vendors and associates, physicians, and assets. The individual has latitude for decisions in executing routine phases of the work, which involves initiating and maintaining contracts, answering correspondence, managing records, creating presentations, event planning, and preparing timely reports. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative, poise, and problem-solving skills.

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics that align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 12 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent required
  • Associate's Degree in business or healthcare-related field required, or 5+ years of equivalent experience will be considered instead of an Associate's Degree.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an administrative or executive assistant in a healthcare environment.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, research, and problem-solving ability.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of accomplishing tasks within a high-performing team environment.
  • Able to multi-task and meet established time frames.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all management levels.

Abilities:

  • Must be very detail-oriented and have strong organization/time management skills.
  • Requires the ability to work independently under general instructions on a wide variety of special projects, completing assignments within strict deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

Equipment Operated:

  • Standard office equipment (laptop, computer, calculator, fax, copier, scanner, etc.)

Work Environment:

  • Office or outpatient medical office setting.
