Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage relationships within the Supply & Inventory Management spend and categories. In this role, you will be the key liaison between procurement, category management (both in-market and above-market), and stakeholders, working to optimize sourcing, supplier selection, pricing, contracting, and ongoing supplier management.You will leverage global and local sourcing strategies, tailoring them to meet the specific needs of the business. As a vital contributor to the development of category strategies, you will identify value creation opportunities and lead cross-functional projects. Your expertise will be essential in driving sustainable resolutions to escalated gaps and risks, ensuring that supply or scope of work challenges from the business, suppliers, or factories are effectively addressed. Additionally, you will actively engage in cross-functional innovation and ideation, clearly communicating improvement pipelines, marketing trends, sourcing constraints, supply risks, and mitigation strategies related to your projects. You will also serve as the point of contact for Preferred Supplier List, Oscar projects, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for monthly Management Operating Reviews (MORs).

Important Note: This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide focused support for manufacturing operations.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for factory escalations and drive sustainable resolutions.
  • Own OSCAR projects to achieve savings and ensure supply and compliance objectives.
  • Monitor business goals and periodically reassess targets.
  • Ensure effective information flow between factory teams and Engineering to deliver on business and functional strategies.
  • Seek proactive feedback to maintain focus on high-value returns.
  • Understand business requirements and challenges, including priorities, critical success factors, and key value drivers. Communicate this understanding to the
  • category management teams at NIM and Nestrade at the appropriate level to define category sourcing strategies and priorities accordingly.
  • Lead Monthly Category Reviews as needed.
  • Represent the Above Market and At Market Procurement Team in discussions regarding ideas and stakeholder/business requirements as assigned.
  • Confirm that business objectives, challenges, projects, requirements, and expectations are shared with the Category Management Team to inform strategic
  • planning.
  • Provide support to stakeholders, brands, and all factories, working closely with the factory Single Point of Contact.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for assigned categories in MRO, factory, land, equipment, CapEx, and all T&L categories.
  • Provide insights into Nestle pricing and identify opportunities to increase overall profitability.
  • Assist in developing strategies for critical items for assigned facilities as needed.
  • Identify local supply risks and develop sustainable mitigation strategies.
  • Play an active role in sourcing strategies and Business Continuity Planning by participating in key meetings, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement, and interacting with local suppliers and category managers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with responsible sourcing standards and certifications where required, including IFM services for on-site vendors and traceability/origin of goods and services for strikes.
  • Identify and implement projects to reduce the risk of out-of-stock PPE inventory.
  • Represent projects through the Project Management Process (PMP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education Requirment:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Master's Degree preferred; CPM Certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of purchasing and/or material management experience, as well as technical or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, and I-Nexus is preferred.
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Candidate must be detail-oriented and a self-starter.
  • Proven ability to analyze and present findings in a clear and cohesive manner.
  • Ability to work independently to identify and research relevant market, industry, and supplier information.
  • Capable of navigating ambiguous situations and managing external vendor relationships.
  • Ability to develop processes and identify continuous improvements to enhance coordination of activities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to form and grow personal networks.

The approximate pay range for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
