Requirements and responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or industry related field is preferred
• 2-5 years prior heavy-civil estimating experience
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications
• Review bid documents to determine scope of work
• Procure subcontractor/supplier quotes, perform scope development and pricing comparisons
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Determine means/methods, crews, and productions for pricing
• Generate a detailed estimate schedule
• Attend pre-bid, on-site, and estimate review meetings
