The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served. This job description integrates the AAACN Scope and Standards of Practice for Professional Ambulatory Care Nursing, the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science preferred within 5 years of hire. Experience:Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred. Licensure:Applicablestate RN license required. Additional Skills/Requirements Required:AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical Demand Code:20A, Nursing Work Function/Activity: Medium to Heavy Physical Demand The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.
