Description
Description: Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Removes/installs canopies, and ejection seats, performs periodic maintenance of all cockpit egress and life support systems of moderate difficulty, such as seats, canopies, CADs, and heating/cooling systems, utilizing hand tools. Reads and interprets manufacturer's publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. inspects airframe components for cracks and other damage. Troubleshoot, remove, replace, and repair egress and life support system components. Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft systems. As directed by site operations and site management, be certified as a CDI. Shall be able to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules and maintenance standards on assigned projects. Qualifications:
Duties: The candidate for this task is required to maintain and service the applicable egress and environmental systems/components as required in support of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 31 RDT&E Programs by applicable publications and governing instructions. Hourly $48.63 USD
