Position Purpose

Renown Health's Employee Giving program celebrates employees and acknowledges the critical role they play in impacting our community not only through their dedicated service, but through their investments in our community's health and healthcare.

Under the leadership of the Director of Community Development for the Foundation, the Development Specialist will take the lead in growing a robust workplace giving program. This position is responsible for the program's daily operations, including to identify, solicit and secure new employee giving opportunities, strategic planning, project management and coordination to meet fundraising goals for the Foundation. This position will also be responsible for the management of employee giving relationships and acts as a main link between these partnerships and the Foundation/Renown Health. This position also represents Renown Health and Renown Health Foundation in the community.

Nature and Scope

This position is highly visible to Renown Health employees, senior management and physicians. High standards of courtesy, performance and respect for confidentiality are essential. Independent judgment is required for appropriate decision making, problem solving and priority setting.

Job responsibilities:




  • Generate revenue to reach targets.



  • Prepare and implement a detailed employee giving plan that includes goal setting with strategies and tactics to increase participation and fundraising, as well as stewardship.



  • Serve as the main contact for all employee giving related programs and activities.



  • Work with Foundation, leaders, and key departments/teams to identify new employee giving opportunities.



  • Research and develop workplace giving marketing programs and ideas to achieve Foundation fund raising goals.



  • Provide direction and collaborate with Foundation team to develop and produce promotional materials, such as collateral, videos, digital and social media. Share stories of employee engagement for use in social media, internal and external communications.



  • Provide direction and collaborate with Foundation team to track results, ensure accurate reporting and create meaningful, timely and customized recognition and program information for employees and leaders.



  • Represent the Foundation in the community by participating in appropriate civic organizations, and professional growth activities.





This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements - Required and/or Preferred








Education:



Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's Degree preferred, with emphasis in business administration, or equivalent experience.





Experience:



One to two years' experience in fund development, knowledge of donor database/software preferred

Computer / Typing:



Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
