Inventory Associate

The Inventory Associate is responsible for pulling all inventory items that
are needed in the assembly of the wheelchair. They are responsible for the
control of our inventory and prepare all the kits for Assembly, ensuring that
all components are accounted for that are needed for assembly of a chair. They
read production orders, scan packets, operate picking gun, store material,
segregate kits, sperate frames, cycle count material, and store incoming
material.
Key Tasks
Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.
Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Typically requires no previous professional experience. Typically requires an associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally.
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
Works under direct supervision to completes assigned tasks using approved work instructions.
Gains basic Knowledge of kitting and other inventory tasks.
Verifies the accuracy of quality of incoming deliveries, learning to properly identify parts and be able to locate them in the inventory area.
Possesses problem solving skills and ability to pay attention to small details.
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language in order to fulfill production orders.
Emerging ability to multitask and handle pressure situations.
Operate handheld inventory scanning gun.
Learning the fundamentals of inventory tracking, labeling, and storage.
Under supervision, participate in and learns how to cycle count.
Other duties as assigned.

Your Background
High School diploma or GED.
1 year inventory experience, preferred.
Basic understanding of inventory and supply chain.
Experience working in a manufacturing setting, preferred.
Typically requires no previous professional experience. Typically requires an associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
Typically requires less than 0-3 year of related experience. Typically requires a general education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
