In the community, TDOC supervises 79,000 offenders on probation, parole, or community corrections. The department operates 44 probation/parole offices in 13 districts across the state. The Tennessee Department of Correction operates safe and secure prisons and provides effective community supervision in order to enhance public safety. Job Overview: The Tennessee Department of Correction is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Contracting and Procurement Specialist to support and manage a wide range of procurement and contracting activities. This role is essential to ensuring the departments procurement processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with state policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of five (5) years of experience in procurement, contracting, or a related field.
