Executive Service FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR Department of Military Construction Facilities Management Office Nashville, TN Salary Range: 09/01/2025 Closing Date: $7,384 - $11,817This position has the potential opportunity to work from home up to 10% of the time. Who we are and what we do: The Tennessee Army National Guard is currently accepting resumes for the position of Facilities Construction Director. The purpose of this position is to serve as the Military Department contact for all maintenance activities on state and federal facilities utilized by the Tennessee Army National Guard to ensure Military Department facilities remain operational for mission success. including directing the activities of area maintenance personnel executing maintenance projects, purchasing materials and services, helping to identify and prioritize maintenance repairs, projects and critical services and tracking and reporting completion; overseeing all actions of the facilities maintenance procurement team and the procurement process for purchasing, invoicing and reconciliation; overseeing administration of CFMO's Utilities and Energy Management Program; and tracking and maintaining all aspects of the Performance Management process for maintenance personnel. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection, mechanical, or other related acceptable field of engineering science and experience equivalent to five years of facilities maintenance management and/or related work, including at least two years of supervisory work of a staff exceeding 10 persons.
