Job Summary

The Vice President, Masimo Solutions (General Manager Marketing) is a dynamic executive leader responsible for the overall strategic direction, P&L performance, and commercial success of a specific Masimo business unit, product portfolio, or market segment, with marketing serving as the primary engine for growth and market leadership. This role combines deep business acumen with exceptional marketing expertise to drive market penetration, revenue growth, and brand equity. The VP GM (Marketing) leads cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across R&D, Sales, Operations, Clinical, and Regulatory functions to deliver innovative solutions and superior customer value.

Key Responsibilities



  • Full P&L ownership for the assigned business unit/segment, including accountability for revenue, profitability, market share, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that leverages deep market insights and robust marketing capabilities to achieve aggressive growth targets.
  • Drive global commercial marketing excellence, overseeing all aspects of downstream and upstream marketing, brand management, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategies for the portfolio.
  • Lead the product lifecycle management from a commercial perspective, ensuring market needs are translated into product development and successful commercialization.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, competitive threats, and customer needs through rigorous market analysis, segmentation, and voice-of-customer initiatives.
  • Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity across all functions impacting the business unit.
  • Collaborate closely with global sales leadership to develop effective sales strategies, enablement tools, and training programs that maximize commercial impact.
  • Manage strategic partnerships and alliances relevant to the business unit's growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee budget allocation and resource deployment to optimize business performance and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Represent the business unit/segment on the executive leadership team, providing strategic insights and contributing to overall corporate strategy.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a significant portion in global marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of P&L responsibility and successful business unit leadership, demonstrating the ability to drive significant revenue growth and market share.
  • Deep expertise in all facets of commercial marketing, including strategic marketing, product launch, brand management, digital marketing, and sales enablement.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and reimbursement pathways.
  • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing, cross-functional global teams.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 30% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
