E-commerce Operations Team
This is a 3-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Santa Monica, CA, with the possibility of extension. Summary
Support the e-commerce operations team in managing and optimizing online store environments, product listings, inventory, and logistics to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive revenue for clients. Collaborate closely with internal teams, fulfillment partners, and account managers to execute successful product launches and maintain high operational standards. Our Ideal Candidate
2+ years of experience in a professional environment, with at least 1 year in merchandising, e-commerce, supply chain, or a related field
Passion for online retail and digital merchandising with a strong foundation in project coordination and operational support
Proficient in Shopify, Microsoft Office (Excel), and experienced with inventory management and product updates
Familiar with fulfillment processes, shipping rate management, and cross-team coordination
Skilled in collaborating with account managers, marketing teams, and warehouse/logistics partners
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and business needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Photoshop experience is a plus
Job Description
In this role, you will assist in the setup, maintenance, and optimization of client e-commerce stores. You'll partner with account managers, marketing teams, and fulfillment partners to coordinate product launches, manage inventory, ensure accurate shipping rates, and provide reporting to clients. This includes updating products, descriptions, and images, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating restocks, and handling one-off platform updates.
You will also support logistics and warehouse operations, manage complimentary shipment requests, and use sales data to recommend revenue-driving opportunities. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Background in e-commerce, merchandising, supply chain, or related industries

This opportunity is located in Santa Monica, CA, and requires on-site work. The pay for this W-2 position is $25.50 per hour.
