Responsible for developing and implementing educational programs focused on enhancing the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals. This role involves collaborating with clinical teams, assessing educational needs, and designing tailored programs to support high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions

-Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among healthcare professionals, with a focus on patient clinical education.
-Design, develop, and implement comprehensive patient clinical education programs to address identified needs. <
-Develop and maintain curriculum materials for patient clinical education programs.
-Facilitate interprofessional education initiatives, promoting collaboration and communication among various healthcare disciplines.
-Deliver educational sessions and workshops to healthcare professionals, ensuring effective transfer of knowledge and skills.
-Develop and implement clinical competency assessments to evaluate healthcare professionals' proficiency in patient care skills.
-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient clinical education programs.
-Maintain accurate and detailed records of educational activities, including attendance, evaluations, and competency assessments.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing required and Master's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in clinical nursing education or health education, preferably within a hospital setting 2-3 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Ability to assess and address the unique educational needs of various healthcare disciplines.
