This position is responsible for directing all operations on shift to ensure the daily targets for Safety, Quality, Throughput, and Cost are met for the Turbine Forge Department. The supervisor shall ensure that all parts processed adhere to the engineering procedures to deliver the highest quality possible. In addition, compliance with the operating schedules must be maintained as this is critical to minimizing inventory and ensuring material flow is consistent for downstream operations. ACTIONS CHALLENGES: Describe the key opportunities which must be solved by the position: * Drives safety by ensuring PPE requirements are up to date and utilized daily. INTERFACE: * Daily meeting to ensure compliance to the preliminary and final forge schedule. REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * Position needs minimum of 3-5 year's experience in a heavy industry manufacturing department or similar military experience. SPECIAL SKILLS: * Strong Leadership skills.
