Job Summary:

A seasoned SAP S/4HANA Fulfillment Lead with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Order-to-Cash (O2C), Logistics Execution (LE), and Enterprise Warehouse Solutions (EWS). Demonstrates strong expertise in configuring and supporting fulfillment processes within discrete and process manufacturing environments, ideally within a high-volume, SKU-intensive operations. Proven ability to lead teams in a global S/4HANA implementations, streamline warehouse operations, and optimize end-to-end logistics processes.

Responsibilities:


Project Preparation & Design



  • Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops for Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, and EWS processes
  • Gather business requirements and map to SAP standard capabilities, identifying necessary enhancements
  • Define fulfillment-related master data needs (materials, condition records, routes, shipping points, storage locations, batch/reel data)
  • Align warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, replenishment, physical inventory) to EWS/EWM best practices


System Configuration & Integration



  • Configure S/4HANA SD, LE, and support EWM modules for the order fulfillment processes
  • Set up delivery processing, picking strategies, wave management, staging, and transportation planning
  • Coordinate integration of fulfillment with Production Planning (PP), GTS , and external systems (e.g., 3PL, shipping carriers)


  • Troubleshoot delivery splits, ATP issues, and warehouse task failures
  • Deliver key user training and support documentation for Fiori apps and warehouse transactions


Stabilization & Hypercare



  • Serve as primary contact for resolving fulfillment process issues (sales orders, deliveries, warehouse tasks)
  • Monitor and resolve IDoc errors, picking exceptions, and ATP mismatch issues
  • Provide support for warehouse operators using RF transactions and Fiori apps
  • Ensure shipping documents (packing lists, BOLs, labels) are generated correctly


Continuous Improvement



  • Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements (e.g., automation of picking waves, optimized route scheduling)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve OTIF (on-time, in-full) delivery performance
  • Support change requests, system patches, and functional upgrades


  • Ensure data consistency across material masters, customer records, transportation zones, and warehouse structures


  • Support development of custom reports/dashboards for warehouse performance, fulfillment cycle time, and logistics costs
  • Work with business to define KPIs for order accuracy, shipping compliance, and warehouse throughput



Required Skills and Experience



  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in IT, with a strong focus on technology solutions for Order Fulfillment and hands-on experience with SAP S/4, specifically in the areas of sales, warehousing and inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sales distribution processes within SAP, including sales order management, product availability, and delivery processing,
  • Proven track record of experience in SAP S/4 implementations, specifically in the sales and distribution domain, including project planning, data migration, system configuration, and user training.
  • Familiarity with legacy ERP systems and experience in migrating to SAP S/4, with a specific emphasis on order fulfillment processes and data migration.
  • Strong understanding of IT cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies relevant to order fulfillment and SAP S/4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead teams collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including sales, customer service, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Strong leadership and team building capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex order fulfillment issues and drive process improvements.
  • Professional certifications such as SAP certifications, specifically in SAP SD and FI/CO, and relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $140,000-190,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
