Summary

Inventory Lead must bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position and have outstanding math and observation skills. They work closely with management in developing, improving and training existing procedures and policies.

Successful Inventory Lead should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of navigating through computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting and training Inventory Specialists, Quality Assurance Liaisons and Cold Warehouse Clerks
  • Reviewing and approving documentation
  • Supporting and working with 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) partners
  • Cycle count finished goods inventory in accordance with the approved cycle counting schedule
  • Identify, research and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate familiarity with product (item numbers, description, quantity per pallet, etc.) to perform accurate cycle counting
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)
  • Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained
  • Generate and distribute SAP reports as needed
  • Assist Lift Truck Operators, Cold Warehouse Clerks, Inventory Specialist, Quality Assurance Liaisons, and Cold Warehouse Leadership as needed
  • Keep well maintained, legible documents and create and post journals in SAP in a timely manner
  • Be involved in implementing solutions and ideas in the department
  • Work with other departments to create and maintain a "whole team" atmosphere
  • Implement and observe all safety rules and regulations as put forth by Chobani and OSHA
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager and Supervisor
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess the Chobani Certified Trainer designation or have the ability and willingness to become a Chobani Certified Trainer
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Excel pivot tables preferred
  • Experience with MRP/ERP software preferred. SAP experience a plus
  • Experience with RF equipment preferred
  • Operate warehouse equipment including Order Picker, various types of Lift Trucks, Pallet Jack, etc.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Work on your feet in a refrigerated environment for up to 12 Hours
  • Lift, push or pull up to 60 pounds with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance
  • Safety and quality oriented
  • Must be clean, follow GMPs, wear proper PPE, and practice good housekeeping
  • Work with a team or alone when required
  • Maintain good communication with team members, Supervisor, and Manager
  • Work in all departments as needed
  • Must be flexible to changing schedules and working additional hours as needed

Compensation Range:$25.50-$33.50, plus bonus.
