Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Leominster Cardiology

UMass Memorial Health - the largest health care system in Central Massachusetts - is seeking a full-time Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding team at HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated and collaborative cardiology group serving a vibrant community through a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.

Our current team consists of 5 Cardiologists (MDs) and 1 Advanced Practice Provider, and we are growing to meet increasing demand for cardiovascular services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cardiology assessments, including histories and physicals

• Manage cardiovascular conditions across a broad spectrum of acuity

• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (EKGs, echos, stress tests, labs)

• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and primary care providers

• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and treatment plans

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Position Qualifications:

• Masters degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Current board certification

• Current NP/PA license for Massachusetts

• Current DEA and Massachusetts controlled substance registration

• Must have ACLS

Experience/Skills:

• Provider experience required

• Cardiology experience preferred
