Job Responsibilities

The Solution Strategist is responsible for developing innovative and data-driven patient recruitment and retention strategies to support study and client needs during the pre-award phase. This role involves collaborating closely with Business Development, Proposals, Internal Account Directors, and other key stakeholders to design tailored solutions that align with study protocols, geographical considerations, and patient engagement methodologies.
The Solution Strategist acts as a subject matter expert, ensuring that proposed strategies are both feasible and optimized for timely enrollment while minimizing site and patient burden. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory considerations, and emerging patient engagement approaches to create competitive and effective solutions.

* Develop customized, data-driven patient recruitment and retention strategies that align with study objectives and client expectations.

* Assess study-specific factors such as target patient population, geographical reach, protocol complexity, and site feasibility to inform strategy development.

* Collaborate with Business Development, Proposals, and internal teams to support the development of competitive and differentiated RFP responses.

* Start the development of the Patient Recruitment Plan (PRP) with the identification and documentation of potential risks related to patient recruitment and retention and proposed mitigation strategies.

* Stay informed on global regulatory requirements, cultural considerations, and industry best practices to optimize strategic recommendations.

* Partner with cross-functional teams, including operational leads, feasibility teams, and data science experts, to integrate real-world insights into patient recruitment planning.

* Engage with clients during pre-award discussions and bid defense meetings to present proposed recruitment and retention strategies.

* Represent the R&R function in strategic conversations with sponsors, ensuring that proposed solutions are aligned with client goals and industry best practices.

* Leverage real-world data, historical enrollment performance, and predictive analytics to refine patient recruitment strategies.

* Continuously monitor industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in patient recruitment to inform future strategies.

* Contribute to the development of best practices, case studies, and lessons learned to enhance R&R solutioning processes.

* Track and analyze proposal outcomes, client feedback, and recruitment performance data to improve future strategic recommendations

Requirements

Requires Graduate degree and at least 5 years of experience in patient recruitment and retention strategy development, clinical trial feasibility, or related areas.

* Excellent leadership/management skills and experience including short and long-term planning, evaluation, directing and motivating staff, marketing and financial management, values clarification, organizational behavior and development, board development and governance, and with utmost integrity.

* Highly effective communications, organizational, presentation, documentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a matrix team.

* Ability to implement, control and understand productivity measures and has a good understanding of financial controls.

* Must have a record of engaging diverse interests for the common good; adept at marketing and able to communicate and work with a diverse group of individuals to accomplish common goals.

* Demonstrated ability to coach and influence others to effectively translate business needs (expressed and unexpressed) into a successful outcome for financial performance and growth.

* Must be able to harmonize financial and associated business requirements with a customer focus and service mindset.

* Entrepreneurial mindset oriented toward innovation, informed risk taking, creative solutions, and a relentless focus toward achieving results/desired outcomes.

* Highly effective strategic planning, communication, written, presentation and analytical skills.

* Experience working in a matrix-structured environment with multiple product lines.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a high-stress environment.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),

* Membership and/or affiliations with applicable professional organizations related to the Company's business are highly preferred.
